In a wild affair that saw the teams trading runs in the final two innings, the Goldeyes hung on to top the Railcats 9-7 to earn their second straight win and 43rd overall on the season. SS Andrew Sohn was the hero, as he blasted a two-run home run to lift the Goldeyes to a two-run lead they would not relinquish. Sohn collected four hits, scored three times and drove in three runs. CF Reggie Abercrombie had an even better day for the Goldeyes, as he drove in an astonishing six runs. Abercrombie also homered twice to pick up his 15th home run of the season. RHP Victor Capellan picked up the final out in the eighth and received the victory, his first of the season. RHP Ryan Chaffee earned his 14th save of the year by pitching a scoreless ninth.

Lincoln 4, Kansas City 3 – Box

The Saltdogs topped the T-Bones on Sunday in a back and forth affair that saw three lead changes. The Saltdogs took a 2-0 lead after the first three innings before the T-Bones tallied off three runs in the fifth to take the narrow lead. The lead held until the eighth, when RF Randolph Oduber hit a two-run single to give the Saltdogs the narrow edge as they went on to win by a run. 1B Nathaniel Maggio had a strong effort in the win, as he produced two hits and plated a run. RHP J.R. Bunda pitched two scoreless innings to earn his seventh win of the season. RHP Michael Wagner pitched a scoreless ninth and earned his 15th save.
