DURHAM, NC – The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Winnipeg Goldeyes OF Ray Sadler (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Hitter of the Week.

Sadler was both productive and consistent this week for Winnipeg. In six games, the outfielder was 11-for-23 (.478) at the plate and drove in multiple runs in three separate games. The Clifton, TX native showed some impressive power, too. Sadler hammered three home runs and five doubles.

Twice this week, Sadler hit both a home run and a double in a single game. The first instance was on Wednesday against the Saints. Sadler went 2-for-3 with a two-run double and a two-run homer to tally four RBI in a 9-2 Goldeyes win. That game was Sadler’s most productive of the week, but he also went 2-for-4 two days later, this time with a homer, a double and two RBI. The final Pointstreak Player of the Week of the 2013 season drove home eight runs for Winnipeg this week.
