The lone run of the game scored on a bases-loaded hit by pitch in the bottom of the fifth inning with PH Travis Higgs at the plate. The pitch was the first after a two hour, 42 minute rain delay. Higgs’ hit by pitch scored SS Zach Penprase.
No player for the RedHawks had more than one hit in the game. For Rockland, 1B Jerod Edmondson was 3-for-4.
LHP Jake Laber (pictured) struck out two batters over five innings to qualify for the win. He was only lifted due to the rain delay. RHP Nate Garcia saved his 10th game of the season with a scoreless ninth.
