REDHAWKS’ PRIME AWARDED PLAYER OF THE MONTH

MOORHEAD, MN.- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks’ INF Correlle Prime has been named the league’s Rawlings Player of the Month for the month of August.

Prime earned the award after hitting .336 with 25 runs scored, 9 doubles, 6 home runs, and 29 RBIs. On the season, Prime is hitting .315 with 78 runs scored, 25 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, and 77 RBIs.

Prime began his professional in 2012 after being drafted in the 12th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies. The Florida natvie spent five seasons in the Rockies’ organization before moving on to the Texas Rangers’ organization in 2018. Prime ended the 2018 season with the Texas AirHogs before signing with the RedHawks in the offseason.
