The Lake County DockHounds (14-18) fall to the Chicago Dogs (19-12) at Impact Field on Friday night.
An electric 4th and 8th inning solidified the win for the Chicago. The Dogs started to claw back from a 2-run deficit when K.C. Hobson and Trent Bauer hit home runs in the 4th inning. In the 8th inning, the first seven batters for the Chicago Dogs reached on base which led to an 8-run inning. K.C. Hobson had a day at the plate going 3 for 5 with 5 RBIs and 2 runs. DockHound’s Wilfredo Gimenez went 2 for 5 on the day with a home run.
