The Kansas City Monarchs (21-10) beat the Milwaukee Milkmen (17-14) on Friday night at Legends Field.

 

The Milkmen got some early runs up on the board when Logan Trowbridge and Magglio Ordonez hit back-to-back singles to put up two runs in the 2nd. 2 innings later, with bases loaded, Jan Hernandez sent a ball over the fence to rally a five run inning. The two teams battled back in forth in the last 4 innings but the Monarchs came out on top.

 

Nick Belzer got the win on the bump after his strong 5 innings pitched, only allowing 2 earned runs.
