For a second consecutive night, weather affected the schedule, with only three games played as scheduled

Fargo-Moorhead 5 Houston 4

Dylan Kelly scored the game winning run on the fifth Houston error of the night and the RedHawks (6-4) scored two in the bottom of the ninth to win 5-4 over the Apollos (1-8) at Newman Outdoor Field on Friday night.  Trailing 4-3 into the bottom of the ninth, Jordan George led off the inning with a game tying home run before Kelly doubled and scored on an error by catcher Hudson Bilodeau.  Ian Yetsko homered and drove in three for the Apollos.

Sioux Falls 9 Lincoln 3

Jordan Ebert and Mike Hart had early home runs as the Canaries (5-4) built a 9-0 lead and cruised to a 9-3 win over the Saltdogs (5-4) on Friday night at Haymarket Park.  Ebert’s two-run homer opened the scoring in the second while Hart hit a three-run shot in the third to extend the lead to 5-0.  Tyler Garkow pitched well (7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 7 K) with that support.  Ryan Long homered for Lincoln.

Kansas City 9 Cleburne 6

A five run bottom of the sixth inning turned a one run deficit into a lead that the Monarchs (3-5) would not relinquish in a 9-6 win over the Railroaders (4-6) on Friday night at Legends Field.  Trailing 4-3 in the sixth, Casey Gillaspie and Colin Willis scored on an error before Daniel Wasinger scored on a wild pitch to extend the lead.  All five runs were unearned in the sixth inning.  Gabriel Guerrero homered for Kansas City while Hunter Clanin homered for Cleburne.
