Sioux Falls 7, Fargo-Moorhead 5 – Box
The Sioux Falls Canaries scored two runs in the seventh inning and one more in the eighth to rally from a 5-4 deficit and beat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, 7-5. Sioux Falls 1B David Bergin led the way offensively going 1-for-3 with a go-ahead seventh inning home run and two runs scored. Canaries 2B Darwin Perez added two hits and two runs scored while LF Cameron Monger plated two runs in a 1-for-3 day. Sioux Falls reliever Dylan Thompson tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings to notch his first win of the season. For Fargo-Moorhead in defeat, RF Keury De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI.
