All Star Header

DURHAM, N.C.- Last September, the Winnipeg Goldeyes and Wichita Wingnuts faced off for the American Association Championship. Now, 10 months later, the teams lead the way in All-Star selections for the American Association/Can-Am League All-Star Game. Both the Goldeyes and Wingnuts will have four representatives in the July 25 game, to be held at RCGT Park in Ottawa, Ontario.

The All-Star starting position players and designated hitter were selected by a vote of the Association’s 11 field managers. All-Star manager Rick Forney of the Winnipeg Goldeyes selected the reserves and pitchers for the game.

The 2017 All-Star Game will pit the American Association All-Stars against the Can-Am All-Stars. The Can-Am All-Stars will be announced Thursday at www.canamleague.com.
