Chicago 8, Milwaukee 6 (10 Innings) – Box Score
The Chicago Dogs walked off on the Milwaukee Milkmen thanks to a two-run shot from 3B Blake Allemand in the bottom of the 10th inning.
The Dogs built the lead with a pair of three-run innings; in the first, 1B K.C. Hobson (2-for-5) hit a two-run homer and SS Tyler Ladendorf followed with a solo shot in the next at-bat and, in the fifth, DH Joey Terdoslavich (3-for-4) hit a two-run shot and Hobson hit a solo shot three pitches later. The Milkmen rallied an eventually tied the score in the top of the ninth thanks to a two-run homer from 1B David Washington (2-for-5).
In the 10th, with two outs, RF Victor Roache reached base on an error and made it to second base. Two pitches later, Blake Allemand hit his fourth roundtripper of the season to give the Dogs the win.
Sioux Falls 4, St. Paul 1 – Box Score
Starting pitcher Tyler Herron led the way for the Sioux Falls Canaries as they beat the St. Paul Saints 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
Herron tossed a complete game for the Canaries and allowed just one run on eight hits while striking out eight batters. The win gives Herron four on the season in eight starts. The Canaries took the lead in the second as LF Ryan Brett doubled home CF Logan Landon and 2B Grant Kay. 3B Damek Tomscha hit a solo homer in the sixth and 1B Alay Lago singled home Brett in the seventh.
The Saints only run came in the top of the ninth when DH Troy Alexander lifted a sac fly that score 2B Josh Allen.
Winnipeg 6, Fargo-Moorhead 4 – Box Score
The Winnipeg Goldeyes worked past the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 6-4 for their 20th win of the 2020 season.
Winnipeg jumped out to an early lead as DH Jordan George (2-for-4) singled to plate C John Nester and LF Dario Pizzano in the bottom of the second inning and SS Wes Darvill singled home CF Jonathan Moroney in the next at-bat. In the next inning, RF Correlle Prime (2-for-5) hit an RBI single and then 1B Drew Ward (2-for-3) hit a three-run homer two pitches later to take the lead.
RF Logan Hill (2-for-3) doubled in the bottom of the frame to push 1B Kyle Martin across the plate and tie the score. 3B Eric Wood doubled to give the Goldeyes the lead in the fifth when Martin scored his second run. Darvill scored the final run of the game on a Hill single in the sixth.
