The American Association announced today that Winnipeg Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier has been named the 2014 American Association Executive of the Year.
Under Collier’s guidance, the Goldeyes once again led American Association with a total attendance of 258,429 and average attendance of 5,618. The Goldeyes also hosted a very successful two-day American Association All-Star event at Shaw Park in July.
Since joining the American Association for the 2011 season, the Goldeyes have won back-to-back-to-back organization of the year awards with Collier at the helm. This is the sixth time Collier has been named a league’s executive of the year.
