The Goldeyes completed a sweep of the AirHogs in Winnipeg on Thursday afternoon. Winnipeg jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning when 1B Casey Haerther hit an RBI single to plate RF Donnie Webb, and Haerther scored on an error with 2B Jake Blackwood at the plate. A similar scenario played out in the sixth, when Haerther singled home Webb, then scored on an RBI single by SS Tyler Kuhn (pictured). Kuhn would drive in Haerther again in the eighth for the last run of the game for Winnipeg.

Kuhn finished 4-for-5 with two RBIs and Hearther, who hit two home runs in Wednesday’s game, was 4-for-4. Webb and LF Ray Sadler were both 2-for-4. For Grand Prairie, C Mitch Abieta was 2-for-3.

Winnipeg RHP Matt Jackson went five innings, allowing no runs on two hits with two strikeouts and earning the win.
