MOORHEAD, MN – Following the announcement this offseason, the American Association of Professional Baseball will begin live-streaming the “American Association Game of the Week” on Facebook Watch starting today with a match-up between the Lincoln Saltdogs and the Cleburne Railroaders.

In collaboration with Facebook, one American Association game will be live-streamed each week of the 2021 season for a total of 16 games free to fans around the world. The Game of the Week will feature all American Association teams throughout the season from their home stadiums.

“Our goal is to spread the brand of American Association baseball through world-class digital channels and show baseball fans around the world the high level of play, our top of class stadiums, and tremendous rivalries that make up our league,” said American Association Commissioner Joshua Schaub. “Facebook has a massive presence and reaches more than 50 million sports fans through its sports streaming offering. This is a tremendous opportunity for our league to provide premium American Association content live to sports fans globally.”

These games will be featured on the Facebook accounts of each team in the matchup as well as the league’s account. As mentioned above, the first match-up will be between the Lincoln Saltdogs and the Cleburne Railroaders today at 6:00 pm CT.

Match-ups for future weeks will be announced during the weeks of those games.
