Grand Prairie 11, Amarillo 10 (14 Innings) – Box
Grand Prairie tallies the game winning run in the top of the 14th inning as the AirHogs outlast the Amarillo Thunderheads by the score of 11-10. This was a wild affair as both teams combined to score 21 runs and bang out 30 hits. Grand Prairie 1B Brian Frazier went 3-for-6 with a run scored and a RBI while 3B Victor Diaz launched a first-inning grand slam. AirHogs C Michael Pair added a pair of hits and scored a run and CF Jordy Hart drove in two runs. Grand Prairie pitcher Logan Norris tossed five innings of relief to pick-up the win. For Amarillo in the loss, LF Jordan Guida had four hits.
Winnipeg 8, Fargo-Moorhead 1 – Box
Winnipeg rolled out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and cruised to an 8-1 win over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. The bottom of the order led the way offensively for the Goldeyes. The 7-8-9 hitters of RF Tillman Pugh, C Ryan Babineau and 2B James Boddicker combined to go 7-for-11 at the plate with four runs scored and four RBI. Winnipeg DH Casey Haerther also chipped in with his eighth home run of the season. Goldeyes starting pitcher Kyle Anderson tossed eight strong innings to earn his fourth win of the year. Anderson gave up an earned run on six hits and struck out six batters.
