Wichita 14, Sioux Falls 4

A dominant offensive performance from the Wingnuts led to a blowout home win at Lawrence Dumont Stadium. Wichita led 11-0 after four innings, thanks in part to four home runs. CF Brent Clevelen hit a second-inning grand slam to make the lead 7-4. In the third, DH Cody Robinson led of with a solo shot and SS Ryan Khoury had a two-run homer later in the inning. 1B Trevor Whyte hit the first of his two home runs in the fourth.

In all, five Wingnuts had multi-hit games. LF Carlo Testa went 4-for-5 to lead the way for Wichita. He was a home run shy of the cycle. Clevelen was 3-for-4 with a team-high five RBIs and was a triple shy of the cycle. Khoury, Whyte and 2B Jake Kahaulelio had two hits apiece.

CF Chris Valencia was 3-for-4 for Sioux Falls.   

RHP Tim Brown struck out one over six innings to earn the win for Wichita.

Laredo at Lincoln- Suspended

The game between the Lemurs and Saltdogs was suspended due to rain with the Lemurs leading 5-1 in the top of the third inning. The bases are loaded with one out. The game will be completed at 5:05 p.m. Central time Tuesday and will be followed by a seven-inning game.
