Second baseman Danny Richar’s sacrifice fly brought in DH David Espinosa with the game winning run as the Kansas City T-Bones edged past the Grand Prairie AirHogs, 4-3 in 10 innings. Kansas City rallied from a 3-2 deficit with a run in the ninth inning to force extra innings. T-Bones C Brian Erie had two hits on the night along with two RBI while LF Bryan Sabatella scored two runs in a 1-for-3 game. Kansas City reliever Kris Regas tossed three scoreless innings to pick up the victory and improve his record to 4-1 on the season. For Grand Prairie in defeat, 2B Alex Nunez had two hits.

Sioux City 2, Winnipeg 0Box

The Sioux City Explorers pitching staff was terrific tonight as the starter Greg Holt and relievers Geoff Broussard and Rob Wort combined on a seven-hit shutout in the 2-0 victory over the Winnipeg Goldeyes. Holt went the first six innings allowing the seven hits while fanning five batters. Broussard and Wort took care of the rest of the game giving up only one walk over the last three innings. Holt notched his third victory of the season while Wort collected his first save. Sioux City scored both of their runs in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by 2B/DH Andres Perez and a RBI single by RF Peter Barrows. With the win, the Explorers completed the three-game sweep.

St. Paul 9, Amarillo 3  – Box

Up 4-2 in the seventh inning, the St. Paul Saints blew the game open with four big runs and would go on to the victory by the score of 9-3 over the Amarillo Sox. With the win, St. Paul completed the three-game sweep of Amarillo. Saints DH Jake Taylor had a great night at the plate going 4-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and a RBI. St. Paul RF Keith Brachold chipped in with a 2-for-3 night with two runs scored and four RBI. Saints starter Drew Gay notched the win as he went six innings giving up one earned run on seven hits with a strikeout.
