ODUBER’S WELL ROUNDED WEEK EARNS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

MOORHEAD, MN- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Lincoln Saltdogs’ OF Randolph Oduber  (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending August 19.

In six games last week, Oduber batted .458 with eight runs scored, three doubles, one triple, and six RBIs. The Western Oklahoma State alum’s marquee performance came  in game one of a doubleheader with the Texas AirHogs on Sunday. Oduber went 3-for-3 in the contest while scoring three runs and batting in three to lead the Saltdogs to a 11-2 win over the AirHogs.

Oduber began n his professional career in 2010 after being drafted in the 32nd round of the MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals. The Aruba native spent six seasons in the Nationals’ organization, reaching double-A three times. Oduber has won two gold medals (2014 & 2016) at the European Baseball Championships while representing Team Netherlands.
