MOORHEAD, MN- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that St. Paul Saints’ RHP Eddie Medina has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending June 2, 2019.

Medina earned the award after throwing the league’s first no-hitter of 2019 in a 5-0 win over the Cleburne Railroaders on May 31. With the Wingnuts in 2015, Medina went 4-1 with a 3.50 ERA. The 29-year old spent one more season with Wichita before debuting with the St. Paul Saints in 2018 and posting a 9-5 record with a 2.80 ERA.
