  1. Kansas City Monarchs (25-15, 2nd in West)

Kansas City was able to avenge losing three of four on the road in Chicago last week by taking two of three from the Dogs in Kansas City this time around. After losing a set to Sioux City and falling in the opener to Chicago, the Monarchs scored 22 runs across the final two games of the set to clinch it. Chris Herrmann continues to drive in runs like it’s nothing, leading the league with 44 RBI, and a new addition in former big-leaguer Odubel Herrera had a strong first few games with five hits in his first 14 at-bats.
