American Association Insider, Carter Woodiel, Returns for 2022 Season

MOORHEAD, MN — American Association Insider Carter Woodiel is returning to the league’s media team for the 2022 season, bringing back a growing suite of exciting, engaging, and innovative content to engage fans in the American Association brand.

Woodiel will return to present hit shows American Association NOW and American Association Whiparound, as well as host and produce a weekly special Thursday Game of the Week.

Airing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the AAPB season, American Association NOW features live interviews with the league’s hottest players, managers and personalities, plus Carter’s Must-See Moment of the Day.

Airing six days a week from Tuesday through Sunday, American Association Whiparound allows every AAPB fan to relive the previous night’s action in two-and-a-half minutes or less. Featuring highlights, stats, scores and much more from all 12 Association teams, the Whiparound is also played pregame on video boards throughout the Association’s stadiums.

Woodiel will also host the new Thursday Game of the Week, a special Facebook Live game broadcast featuring guests from across the world of baseball, entertainment, and beyond. More details on the Game of the Week will be announced at a later date.

In addition, Woodiel will provide live content from showcase events like the AAPB All-Star Game and Wolff Cup Finals, weekly power rankings, and more. 

Woodiel (@CarterWoodiel on Twitter) joined the American Association’s media team in 2021. Previously, he spent three seasons as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations with the Sioux Falls Canaries, a founding member of the American Association. He also serves as the play-by-play voice of University of South Dakota women’s basketball. Earlier this month he called the Coyotes’ run to the Sweet Sixteen of March Madness.
