With rosters for the 2017 World Baseball Classic unveiled this week, former and present American Association players will represent nine different countries at this year’s tournament. The Netherlands leads the way with six players, five of whom are on the Lincoln Saltdogs’ 2017 roster.
The fourth WBC begins March 6 with games in Seoul, Tokyo, Miami and Jalisco, Mexico.
