Baseball Operations Internship

The American Association of Professional Baseball is seeking a Baseball Operations Intern who is interested in learning about the operations of a baseball league and its teams.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual hungry to learn, driven to promote this mission, and someone that admires baseball the way it’s supposed to be played. 

Responsibilities:

• Statistics

  • Under direction of Deputy Commissioner, maintain Pointstreak (league statistician) roster database on a daily basis

  • Assist in the following: update rosters, player positions, and addition of player headshots to statistics platform

  • Communicate with league statistician as needed

  • Assist in the implementation of the Rapsodo Stadium analytics system

• AABaseball.tv Maintenance

  • Assist with loading accurate information for all games played and streamed in the league

  • Serve as a point of contact for the streaming of all games throughout the league by managing the day to day of AABaseball.tv.

  • Organize and maintain archives of previously played games

    • Contribute to critical business initiatives helping grow our organization and improve program quality

    • Learn directly from the Office of the Commissioner and align on weekly objectives and deliverables

    • Review and be educated on current processes and implementation of improvements to drive a more successful business
